The Colonial Coconut Hotel is situated near the resort village of Grand Baie on the north coast of Mauritius, in a coconut grove, twenty five minutes (25 km) from Port Louis and sixty minutes (65 km) from the airport. The restaurant 'La Varangue' borders the swimming pool, and serves Mauritian, Oriental and French cuisine, and the "best coffee on the island"! Once a week, the traditional séga is performed for diners.
